NIGERIA: Tinubu to Commission Key Lagos Infrastructure Projects During Two-Day Visit

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to commission a series of major infrastructure projects executed by the Lagos State Government during a two-day state visit scheduled for April 8 and 9, 2026.
The projects, delivered under the administration of Babajide Sanwo-Olu, span critical sectors including transportation, urban development, agriculture, and education.
Among the projects to be inaugurated are the Opebi-Mende-Ojota Link Bridge, the Lagos State Geographic Information Service (LAGIS) Building in Alausa, the Lagos State Multi-Agency Complex, and the Mid-Level Agro Food Hub located in Abijo along the Lekki-Epe Expressway.
Others include the regeneration and full upgrade of the Tolu Schools Complex in Ajegunle, as well as the Maracana Stadium, also in Ajegunle, which features 19 mini football pitches.
The commissioning is part of activities lined up for the President’s official visit to Lagos, showcasing key developmental strides by the state government.
