The Ogun State Government has announced the postponement of the commissioning of the Gateway International Airport and other landmark projects earlier scheduled to hold on Thursday, April 2, 2026.
The event will now take place on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at the Gateway International Airport along the Iperu-Ilishan Road in Ogun State.
The statement indicated that the commissioning will commence at 11:00 AM, while guests are expected to be seated by 10:00 AM, adding that all other arrangements remain unchanged.
The statement reads: “The Government of Ogun State wishes to inform all invited guests and the general public that the Commissioning of Gateway International Airport and Other Landmark Projects… has been postponed.”
It also noted that the government regrets any inconvenience the change may cause and appreciated the understanding of the public and invited guests.
