President William Ruto has urged Kenyans to embrace unity, compassion and generosity as the Muslim community marks Eid al-Fitr after the holy month of Ramadan.
“We join the Muslim community in celebrating Eid al-Fitr… a time of sacrifice, devotion, prayer, charity, and reflection,” the President said.
He called on citizens to uphold the values of faith and extend support to the less fortunate.
“Eid is a celebration of faith, unity, and gratitude… may this occasion bring peace to our hearts, harmony to our communities, and renewed hope for our nation,” he added.
The President also conveyed his Eid Mubarak wishes to Muslims across th
e country.
