President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja on Saturday for a three-state visit covering Borno, Bauchi, and Lagos, where he will spend the upcoming end-of-year holidays.
In Borno State, the President is scheduled to commission several projects executed by Governor Babagana Zulum and the Federal Government. He will also attend the wedding ceremony of Sadeeq Sheriff, son of former Governor Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, and his bride Hadiza Kam Salem.
From Maiduguri, President Tinubu will proceed to Bauchi to condole with the state government and the family of the late renowned Muslim cleric and leader of the Tijjaniyya Muslim Brotherhood, Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, who passed away on November 27.
After the condolence visit, the President will head to Lagos for the festive season, with a packed itinerary that includes serving as the guest of honour at the Eyo Festival on December 27 at Tafawa Balewa Square. The festival will honour prominent figures, including President Tinubu’s mother, Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji, as well as former governors Alhaji Lateef Jakande and Chief Michael Otedola.
The tour underscores the President’s engagement with regional development, cultural events, and personal observances during the holiday period.
