Presidents William Ruto and his Senegal counterpart Bassirou Diomaye Faye on Wednesday, witnessed the signing of a landmark bilateral agreement allowing citizens of Kenya and Senegal to travel freely between the two countries without visa restrictions.

Under the new framework, holders of both diplomatic and ordinary passports will be able to enter, stay, or transit through either country for up to 90 days visa-free.

President Ruto hailed the agreement as “a great milestone that will strengthen people-to-people ties, boost tourism, trade, and deepen collaboration between our nations.”

The accord marks a significant step in advancing regional integration and fostering stronger socio-economic cooperation within the African continent.
