Bola Tinubu is set to headline the 61st edition of the Argungu International Fishing and Cultural Festival during a one-day official visit to Kebbi State scheduled for Saturday.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by Bayo Onanuga, special adviser to the president on information and strategy, on Friday.
The festival, regarded as one of Africa’s most celebrated cultural gatherings, will host the president as special guest of honour, drawing attention to Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage and tourism potential.
The statement reads: ” The festival is staged by the riverside of the historic Matan Fada, recognised by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) of Humanity.”
The visit will also include the inauguration of projects executed by the Kebbi State government under Na
sir Idris.
