The pro-Tinubu support group, Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN), on Monday, officially commenced a 30-day nationwide membership registration exercise aimed at mobilising millions of Nigerians for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
The registration, which runs from June 1 to June 30th 2026 and targets 5,250,000 votes which includes Support groups, youths, women, men, professionals, market associations, community leaders, people living with special needs, market women, road transport workers, keke riders, and all interested Nigerians aged 18 years and above. It is open to both APC members and non-members across the country and in the Diaspora.
Announcing the exercise at a media briefing in Abuja, Hon. Ahmed Bala, Director General of RTIFN, described the registration as more than a routine enrolment. He called it “a call to all patriotic Nigerians who believe in the greatness of our nation and who are committed to supporting policies and programmes that promote National development, unity, peace, security, and economic prosperity.”
In his welcome address, Hon. Ahmed Bala reaffirmed RTIFN’s commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu, stating that the movement is a platform for citizens to actively participate in nation-building. He emphasised that “promises were made, and promises are being implemented,” urging Nigerians to remain hopeful despite ongoing challenges.
Hon. Bala expressed gratitude to Mr. Seyi Tinubu, Founder-in-Chief of RTIFN, for his commitment to youth development and inclusion. He also commended the Honourable Minister of Youth Development Hon Ayodele olawande Wisdom and the Director General of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) Mr Charles odii for their roles in youth and economic empowerment.
The Director General appealed to the media to continue promoting messages of hope, unity, and national renewal.
Several top officials of the organisation addressed the gathering, outlining strategies for grassroots mobilisation:
Deputy Director General of RTIFN, Zack Orji was present as a key figure in the leadership. The veteran actor has been actively involved in promoting the movement’s objectives.
Also speaking, National Secretary of the group, Arc. Felix Arome said the online registration platform will be accessible within Nigeria and the Diaspora. He explained that the portal will help the organisation identify members, follow them up to ensure they vote for Tinubu, and confirm that their votes count. It will also guide members in promoting the policies of the President, he added.
However, the South East Zonal Coordinator, High Chief Engr. Johnbosco Onunkwo, noted that the organisation has gone digital. He stressed that the exercise goes beyond merely telling people about Tinubu but aims to convert them into believers in his leadership and vision.
Similarly, the National Women Leader of the group, Dr. Umma Adamu Sani, assured that there will be women inclusion. She said the women’s wing will go deep into the grassroots to ensure massive registration and participation.
The first registration was conducted by the Director General, Bala, who became the number one member of the organisation.
The National Director of Contacts and Mobilization, Mr Lulu Fawehinmi, stated that his department is targeting a membership of at least five million votes. He further stated that the exercise offers both online and manual options. For online registration, applicants visit the RTIFN portal, fill a form with details such as full name, phone number, gender, date of birth, state of origin, LGA, ward, occupation, and voter status, upload a passport photograph and means of identification (optional), and receive a registration number and digital membership record.
Manual registration will take place at ward centres, LGA offices, state RTIFN offices, markets, and community points. Registered members will enjoy benefits including participation in programmes, access to updates, volunteer opportunities, and community development initiatives.
The drive is themed “From Promises to Progress” with the slogan is “Register. Support. Transform.”
This massive mobilisation effort by RTIFN signals an early and aggressive push by Tinubu support groups to build a formidable structure ahead of the 2027 presidential election, focusing on data-driven membership, digital engagement, and grassroots conversion into strong supporters of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
