The ongoing legal feud between Nollywood actress Doris Ogala and the founder of Grace Nation International, Pastor Chris Okafor, reached a critical point this week as the actress expresses fears of imprisonment.
In a viral video obtained by African Culture TV, the actress appealed for support from the public to save her from being jailed.
The controversy, which has captivated social media for months, centers on a series of explosive allegations made by Ogala, who claims she had a romantic relationship with the cleric beginning in 2017.
She has publicly accused him of breaking a promise of marriage, a betrayal she says occurred after she ended her own previous marriage at his urging.
The situation escalated into a criminal matter when the Federal Government filed a four-count charge against Ogala, bordering on cyberstalking, the dissemination of false information, and attempted extortion. While a planned arraignment was set for late April 2026, the proceedings were stalled due to the actress’s absence.
Her legal team informed the court that she was recovery from a recent surgery, prompting the judge to demand a verifiable medical report from a government hospital before the next hearing schedu
