NIGERIA: Lagos Police, Sister Agencies Intensify Patrol Ahead of Eid

The Lagos State Police Command, in collaboration with other security agencies, on Thursday embarked on a statewide patrol to deter criminal activities and boost public confidence ahead of the Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations.
The development was disclosed in a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Adebisi.
The patrol, which covered key areas including Agege and its environs, is part of efforts to ensure the safety of residents before, during, and after the festive period.
Residents of the area commended the initiative, citing increased visibility and coordinated operations by security personnel.
The command noted that strategic deployments of manpower, operational assets, and intelligence-driven technology have been put in place to ensure a peaceful celebration.
