Popular comedian Ayo Makun, known as AY, has announced the postponement of his highly anticipated AY Live Warri show originally scheduled for June 12.
In a statement issued on Saturday the organisers said the decision was taken with a heavy heart due to the current security challenges and uncertainty facing many Nigerians across the country.
The organisers explained that at a time when numerous families are dealing with the painful effects of insecurity they deem it necessary to stand in solidarity with affected citizens and prioritise the safety and well-being of the audience and supporters.
A new date for the event will be announced on the official page in due course.
The statement expressed appreciation for the understanding and continued support of fans while reaffirming the AY Live brand’s resilience with the tagline “Against All Odds.”
