Nigeria – Adams Oshiomhole Ridicules Governor Obaseki And His Wife Over Inability To Give Birth

As the political tension in Edo State continues to hit up, the Senator representing Edo North Senatorial districts, Adams Oshiomhole, has ridiculed the first lady of Edo state and her husband, Betsy and Godwin Obaseki over their inability to give birth.

The senator made this statement during a press interview with some journalists in Edo state on Sunday while reacting to claims by the Edo State first lady that the Edo state APC candidate has no wife.

Oshiomhole stated that he was shocked to see the Edo state first lady saying that the APC gubernatorial candidate has no wife, adding that they are both childless.

“I was shocked yesterday to see Mrs. Obaseki, the first lady, saying that our candidate has no wife. She is the most, I’m sorry that she has to say that, because here is a woman who has no child. Between him and Obaseki, they have no child, they are childless.”

Oshiomhole went further to state that they are not ready to adopt, although he doesn’t blame anyone for not having a child, but people who have love for children go to a motherless baby home to adopt a child.

“They are even not ready to adopt. I mean, I don’t blame anybody should not have a child. But people who have love for children go to motherless homes and adopt children.

“They have not adopted; they are both in their 60s. So, you married, I don’t know whether it’s a contract or whatever it is, but they have no child,”

Oshiomhole disclosed that their gubernatorial candidate has invested in the education of other children.

“Now our candidate not only have children, he has invested in the education of those children, such that you watch them on live television, covered by your media stations, where the first one that spoke is a lawyer, the second one is a medical doctor, and they had dressed the crowd in a Edo South, in a Edo Central, in Edo North, and their mother was there.”
