Northern Region Police on Friday, gathered with their children at Mzuzu Police Ground in a special meeting aimed at nurturing moral values and discipline.

The event included preaching of the Word of God, presentations from St John of God Hospital on mental health, and input from the Mzimba District Youth Office.
In his remarks, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Mr. Mazengera said, “It is very important to teach our children while they are still young, as the Bible says. When we guide them now, they will grow into responsible citizens who can contribute positively to the country.”

Parents and guardians who attended the gathering commended the police for organizing the program, saying it helps strengthen family bonds and instills discipline in children.

The meeting ended with activities such as music, drama, and interactive sessions between officers and their children.
