MALAWI: Miss Malawi Partners Zodiak in K150 Million Deal to Expand Nation al Reach

The Miss Malawi Organisation has partnered with the Zodiak Broadcasting Corporation in a deal valued at approximately K150 million, aimed at amplifying its impact across the country.
Miss Malawi Board Chairperson, Mary Bushiri, said the partnership will help the organisation extend its reach beyond urban areas into rural communities.
She emphasised that the initiative seeks to ensure more Malawians understand the purpose and impact of the pageant, particularly those who rely on radio as their primary source of information. “We want to make sure that every Malawian appreciates what Miss Malawi stands for and the role it plays in community development,” she said.
Bushiri also revealed that the organisation is pursuing additional partnerships ahead of the 2026 pageant to strengthen both financial and strategic support.
Meanwhile, Hazwel Solomon, Director of Engineering at Zodiak, said the collaboration reflects growing confidence in the current Miss Malawi leadership.
He added that Zodiak will serve as the exclusive broadcaster for all Miss Malawi activities, with the K150 million package comprising both financial support and airtime across its platforms. “This partnership demonstrates our belief in the vision and direction of Miss Malawi, and we are committed to supporting its growth,” said Solomon.
