Speaking during the national basketball tournament held at the KUHES Sports Complex in Blantyre, BAM’s Director of Marketing, Ntchiwa Chiwaya, said it is encouraging to see many young people across the country actively participating in the sport.

She noted that eight male and eight female teams had qualified for the final stage of the competition.
CDH Investment Bank’s Chief Business Development Officer, Jamal Kamoto, said the bank sponsored this year’s national basketball championship with K44 million.

He added that, as part of its corporate social responsibility efforts, the bank will continue collaborating with relevant stakeholders to promote basketball participation among both rural and urban communities.
