Kenyan And Mozambique’s President Unveils $2.9B Investment Deals In Nairobi

Kenyan President William Ruto has joined Mozambique’s President Daniel Chapo in presiding over the Kenya International Investment Conference in Nairobi, unveiling investments worth 2.9 billion dollars.
The deals involve 20 investors from nine countries, span sectors including agriculture, manufacturing, ICT, healthcare, energy, and real estate.
President Ruto said Kenya has rolled out reforms to enhance investment competitiveness and ease of doing business.
“These initiatives are positioning Kenya as a premium investment destination, offering stability, predictability, and real opportunities for investors,” he said.
The government has introduced tax reforms, a one-stop investment centre, and measures to lower energy costs while strengthening infrastructure and workforce de
velopment.
