Senior government adviser Moses Kuria has taken a fresh swipe at former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, claiming his impeachment has effectively diminished his political prospects.
Speaking during a public engagement, Kuria mocked Gachagua’s future ambitions, saying: “Hon. Rigathi Gachagua stands impeached; he cannot even vie for the captain of Kianyaga Boys where he went to school.”
The remarks add to the escalating political exchanges between leaders allied to the government and the former Deputy President, who has remained vocal in his criticism of the Kenya Kwanza administration following his impeachment.
Kuria’s comments are likely to fuel further debate over Gachagua’s political future as the country gradually shifts focus towards the 2027 General Election.
