Bulambya Lusayo Cultural Festival Set To Promote Rich Culture And Child Protection Against Trafficking In Malawi

The organisers of the Bulambya Lusayo Cultural Festival have said all is set to host its festival this Saturday at the Bulambya chieftency headquarters at Chinukha in Chitipa district, Malawi.
The organising secretary of the festival, Winford Mogha said that the festival will be graced by high-level individuals including DC for Isoka district in Zambia, senior traditional leaders from Zambia, Tanzania, Karonga and Rumphi.
Mogha noted that the festival promises to showcase the rich culture of the Bulambya people with a plethora of traditional music, dances and cuisines on display, hence appealing for high patronage.
Meanwhile, Bulambya Cultural Heritage national chairperson Tenston Kilembe has also noted that this year’s event aims to promote protection of children from trafficking and any other forms of abuse.
The festival will be held under the theme: “Safeguarding children; a responsibility for all”.
