South Sudan President Salva Kiir Mayardit Reshuffles Key Officials in ICT Ministry

In a notable reshuffle, President Salva Kiir Mayardit of South Sudan has announced the dismissal of two undersecretaries from the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and Postal Services.

The changes were publicized through a decree broadcasted on the state-owned South Sudan Broadcasting Corporation (SSBC).
The undersecretaries who have been relieved of their duties are Wani Ladu Kenyi and Yath Awan Yath. They will be replaced by Thomas Gatkuoth Yak and Martin Mabior Mawien, respectively.
In addition to these personnel changes, President Kiir has also removed Napoleon Adok from his position as the Director General of the National Communication Authority (NCA). He will be succeeded by Gieth Kon Mathiang in this vital role.
These appointments signify the government’s ongoing commitment to restructuring and improving the efficiency of it’s institutions
