The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has rescheduled the commencement of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to Thursday, April 24, 2025, a day earlier than the previously announced date of April 25.
This adjustment, according to the Board, is to accommodate essential commitments involving JAMB and its partner agencies.
In a statement issued by Dr. Fabian Benjamin, Public Communication Advisor on Saturday via the Board’s X handle, JAMB urged all registered candidates to proceed with the printing of their Notification Slips from Saturday, April 19, 2025.
The slip contains key details such as the candidate’s examination date, time, venue, and other relevant instructions.
To print the slip, candidates are to go to the Board’s official website, www.jamb.gov.ng , and follow through the steps required.
Candidates are also advised to print their slips and familiarize themselves with their centres at least one or two days before the examination to avoid any inconvenience.
The statement reiterated: “It is strongly advised that candidates print their slips and familiarize themselves with their examination centres at least one or two days before the examination date. This preparation will help ensure a smooth experience on exam day.”
JAMB further clarified that all candidates will be assigned to centres within their selected examination towns.
The Board reiterated its commitment to a smooth and credible conduct of the 2025 UTME.
