NIGERIA: Atiku Abubakar Hails YOWICAN Chairman Adamawa Over Conferment Of Honorary Doctorate

Nigerian former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has commended the Chairman of the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN), Adamawa State chapter, Reverend Gabriel Ldutsi Shallmombol for his outstanding contributions to theological leadership, following the conferment of an honorary doctorate in Strategic Leadership upon him by the Dominion of Impact International Bible School.
In a formal letter dated April 4, 2025, the former Vice President described Rev. Shallmombol as “a beacon of integrity and dedication,” praising his sincere commitment to community transformation through spiritual and strategic leadership.
Atiku wrote: “It is with great joy and a heart full of admiration that I extend my warmest congratulations to you on receiving an honorary doctorate in Strategic Leadership from the Dominion of Impact International Bible School.
“This recognition is an accolade that testifies to your services, commitment and immense contributions to your theological engagements.”
Abubakar noted that the leadership of Rev. Shallmombol in Adamawa State Chapter, has inspired respect across communities and earned him recognition among peers and leaders alike.
He stated: “Your exceptional theological services have not only influenced many but have also transformed lives within your community. The respect you have garnered from both your peers and community leaders is an acknowledgment of your relentless dedication and the significant impact you are making.”
Abubakar urged Rev. Shallmombol to embrace the honour with pride, adding that his legacy of inspiration, wisdom, and humility will continue to resonate.
“Your ability to inspire those around you is commendable, and I have no doubt that you will continue to lead with wisdom and humility in the years to come,” he said.
The former Vice President buttressed: “Once again, congratulations on this well-deserved honour! I look forward to celebrating your achievements and witnessing the wonderful impact you will continue to have on all those fortunate enough to be in your presence.”
