Vitumbiko Mumba, a seasoned politician and civil engineer, has donated two ambulances to the Mzimba constituency as he seeks to represent the area under the Malawi Congress Party (MCP).
The donation ceremony took place at Mbalachanda in Mzimba, highlighting Mumba’s commitment to improving healthcare services in his prospective constituency.
Mumba expressed his passion for helping his people, especially in matters of health. He said: “I am passionate about helping my people, especially in matters of health.” This gesture demonstrates his dedication to the well-being of the community.
As a director at Surge Infrastructure Developments Ltd, Mumba brings his expertise in infrastructure development to the table, aiming to enhance healthcare facilities in the region. With over 13 years of experience in civil engineering, Mumba has worked in both the private and public sectors in Malawi, Botswana, and Namibia.
The donation of the two ambulances is a significant step towards improving healthcare services in the Mzimba constituency.
Mumba’s leadership style is shaped by his understanding of the construction industry, having worked with contractors, consultants, and government agencies. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Malawi and is pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Stellenbosch Business School.
