A Federal High Court in Abuja, has issued an order restricting all parties involved in the lawsuit filed by suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan against Senate President Godswill Akpabio and three others from granting press interviews regarding the case.
Justice Binta Nyako issued the ruling on Friday, following concerns raised by Akpabio’s legal representative, Kehinde Ogunwumiju (SAN).
Ogunwumiju informed the court that Akpoti-Uduaghan had been making multiple media appearances, discussing details of the ongoing case, which remains pending before the court.
In her ruling, Justice Nyako declared that no party or their legal representatives should engage in press interviews or public discussions concerning the case.
Additionally, she prohibited the live streaming of court proceedings on social media platforms.
