Kenyan Popular radio personality and content creator Azziad Nasenya, has spoken out against claims that she borrows money to sustain her lifestyle.
Recently, social media was abuzz with speculation that Azziad had taken on significant debt to finance her glamorous image.
However, addressing the issue during her show Habari Shuffle on Sound City Radio, Azziad dismissed the allegations, calling them baseless.
“This is something that has been going around for a while,” she said in a video shared on her Instagram stories.
“Social media is like a giant movie set where everyone can be a scriptwriter. And lately, I’ve been watching some of the most creative stories unfold except this time, the main character is me.”
Azziad emphasized that she does not rely on loans to maintain her public image. Instead, she attributes her success to years of hard work, dedication, and strategic investments in herself.
“I don’t borrow to fund my lifestyle because I don’t need to. What people forget is that this did not start today I have been building, working, and investing in myself for years,” she explained.
While acknowledging that she does have some financial obligations, Azziad clarified that she is handling them privately with the individuals involved.
“Regarding payment of debts, what I can say is that I am addressing this matter directly with those involved.
Real responsibility does not happen in comment sections—it happens through action,” she stated.
Despite the controversy, she maintained a positive outlook and refused to let social media pressure dictate her financial decisions or business dealings.
Azziad also took the opportunity to encourage young Kenyans, particularly women, to remain resilient in their pursuit of success.
“If you have ever felt misunderstood or had your hard work questioned, just know that your truth is not up for debate,” she said. “Let people talk, let them speculate. At the end of the day, your work will always outlive the gossip.”
She concluded by reaffirming her commitment to personal growth and professionalism.
“For anyone wondering where I stand, I stand in my truth, in growth, in action not in noise. This is just another shuffle. I move forward, I step up, and I’ve learned my lesson. At the end of the day, real success is about handling your business in silence and letting actions speak louder than any headline.”
