Wafula Chebukati, the former chairperson of Kenya’s Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), has passed away at the age of 63.
Chebukati, who led the IEBC during Kenya’s 2017 and 2022 general elections, was a central figure in the country’s electoral process.
