By Ameenat Hamzat, Lagos, Nigeria
Popular Nigerian skit maker, Aloma Isaac Junior, widely known as Zicsaloma, has unveiled his new look following a rhinoplasty (nose surgery) procedure in Turkey.
In a video shared on his Instagram page, the comedian showcased his healing process, addressing his fans about the transformation.
He explained that the surgery was done just five days earlier and that his face was still swollen, urging followers to be patient for the final result.
He said: ” So guys, this is Day 5 after my rhinoplasty. I went to take my cast off. Have it at the back of your mind that this is just five days after my surgery, so I’m still swollen. This is not the final result.”
The video also captured his doctor removing nasal packing from his nose, a process that Zicsaloma described as uncomfortable but not painful.
The nasal packing was inserted to control bleeding post-surgery.
His doctor also placed a new cast on his nose, which he will have to replace himself over the next month.
Additionally, the doctor introduced a retainer designed to maintain the shape of his nostrils and ensure symmetry.
Zicsaloma revealed that he would be required to wear the retainer at night for the next month.
His decision to undergo cosmetic surgery has sparked mixed reactions online, with some fans criticizing his choice to alter his natural appearance.
However, the comedian remained confident in his decision, stating, “I know some of you pray it looks bad, but God pass man.”
Despite the backlash, many fans have also expressed support, wishing him a smooth and speedy recovery.
Zicsaloma assured his audience that he would fully unveil his new look once the healing process is complete.
