One of Nigeria’s renowned Fuji Musicians, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, lost his mother, Alhaja Halima Anifowoshe on Saturday morning.
The Fuji Maestro shared the news on his official social media page.
K1 posted a photo of his late mother and himself accompanied with a caption that reads; “With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of King Wasiu Ayinde’s beloved mother.
“May her soul rest in peace, Alhaja Alimotu Shadiya Omoakeredolu Aya Anifowoshe. Iya rere. Sun re oo.”
The President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, also on Saturday reached out to Fuji maestro, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal to express his condolences.
The president reached out through a telephone conversation which the Fuji Maestro shared on his Instagram page.
He wrote: “The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria called to commiserate with the King of Fuji Music.”
