La Liga Postpones Real Madrid Vs. Valencia Match Amid Deadly Flooding In Spain

By Onoja Baba, Nigeria
The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has postponed Real Madrid’s La Liga clash with Valencia scheduled for this weekend due to severe floods in eastern Spain that have claimed more than 95 lives.
Villarreal’s home match against Rayo Vallecano has also been suspended following the flash floods that have devastated the region.
La Liga requested the postponement of Valencia and Villarreal matches, as well as three second-division games involving teams from the flood-stricken areas.
The RFEF confirmed the decision, noting that both professional and non-professional games in the affected regions, including indoor football, would be postponed as a safety measure.
Earlier in the week, the RFEF had already postponed several Copa del Rey first-round matches, including Valencia’s game against Parla Escuela.
