Nigeria – NNPC Boss, Kyari Losses 25-Year-Old Daughter to the Cold Hands of Death

Fatima Kyari, the 25-year-old daughter of Mele Kyari, Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited, has passed away.
Fatima reportedly died on Friday, leaving her family, friends, and associates in deep mourning. Her funeral prayers were held at the Annur Mosque in Abuja, the nation’s capital, on Saturday.
Vice President Kashim Shettima was among the high-profile mourners who attended the funeral prayers. In a condolence message, the Vice President expressed his heartfelt sympathy to the Kyari family.
In his statement, Shettima said, “Vice President Kashim Shettima has condoled with the family of the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, Malam Mele Kyari, over the loss of his daughter, Fatima Kyari.”
He added that the late Fatima passed away at the age of 25 and prayed for her peaceful repose, asking God to give the Kyari family the strength to bear the tragic loss.
