Veteran Nollywood actor, Jerry Amilo, has laid his daughter, Chidera Amilo, also known as Princess, to rest following her untimely death on October 4, 2024.
Princess’s passing occurred just months after she was reunited with her father.
The actor, overjoyed by their reunion, shared a video on Instagram on August 21, expressing his happiness after being separated from his daughter for two years.
However, their reunion was tragically cut short when Chidera passed away only weeks later. As of the time of filing this report, the cause of her death remains unknown.
Amilo took to Instagram to express his deep sorrow, sharing emotional clips from the funeral.
In his post, he wrote: “Good night My Angel. MAY YOUR SOUL REST IN PERFECT PEACE AMEN Still staying FOCUSED.”
