Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has emerged as Kenya’s best-performing Member of Parliament in the latest Infotrak Leadership Survey, topping the national rankings with an 80 per cent approval rating.
According to the survey released by Infotrak Research and Consulting, Kabuchai MP Joseph Kalasinga ranked second with 78 per cent, while Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro and Taveta MP John Bwire tied for third place at 76 per cent.
The survey also ranked Samburu West MP Josephine Lesuuda, Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa, Mogotio MP Reuben Kiborek, Keiyo South MP Gideon Kimaiyo, Belgut MP Nelson Koech and Mukurweini MP Kaguchia Gichohi among the country’s top-performing legislators.
Reacting to the latest ranking, Babu Owino thanked Embakasi East residents and Kenyans for their continued confidence in his leadership.
“This recognition belongs to the people of Embakasi East. It inspires me to continue serving with commitment, integrity and dedication,” said Owino.
The latest ranking adds to Owino’s growing list of accolades after he was also named the Best Performing MP at the 2026 Politrack Africa Star Leaders Awards, having received similar recognition from both Politrack Africa and Infotrak in previous surveys.
