Isaac Fayose, brother of former Ayo Fayose, has announced the death of his wife.
Fayose disclosed the development in an Instagram post on Saturday, sharing a candlelight image and a brief tribute to his late wife.
“Rest in peace, my darling wife,” he wrote.
In another post, he shared photos of his wife and wrote a farewell message in Yoruba, mourning her passing.
The death comes months after Fayose publicly revealed that his wife had been battling cancer.
In March, after visiting his family in Australia, he shared details of her illness, saying her condition had worsened and she had become too weak to carry out daily activities.
“She used to cook for me, but now I find myself cooking for her,” he said in an emotional post at the time.
The announcement has since drawn condolences from several celebrities, including Yvonne Jegede, Ali Baba and Daddy Showkey, who paid tribute to the deceased
on social media.
