Vice President Jane Ansah says she has no intention of leaving the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), dismissing claims allegedly made by a prophet from Zomba whom she did not name.
Ansah said it is unfortunate that some prophets are hiding behind their spiritual work to make misleading political claims that could confuse Malawians.
“I am DPP to the core, and even if you pierce my skin, you will see my blue blood!” retorted Ansah.
She further warned people not to mistake her silence for foolishness, saying: “When the time comes, I will speak out.” However, she did not elaborate further.
Ansah made the remarks after visiting Senior Chief Lukwa’s farm before the Dr. Jane Ansah Foundation distributed assorted relief items to vulnerable communities at Chidzenje Headquarters in Kasungu on Saturda
y morning.
