NIGERIA: GUO Transport Confirms Driver Killed In Armed Robbery Attack In Benin

GUO Transport Company has confirmed the tragic death of one of its drivers in a violent armed robbery incident that occurred on Saturday.
In an official statement signed by the management of the company, it disclosed that a Toyota Hiace bus, which was dispatched empty from Lagos to Onitsha, was ambushed by armed robbers along the Okada-Benin Road. The attack resulted in the loss of the driver.
The management expressed profound sadness over the incident, describing it as a deeply painful loss to the entire GUO family. The company said its immediate priority is to support the bereaved family during this difficult period and extended heartfelt condolences to them.
While commending the efforts of relevant security agencies and government authorities, GUO Transport urged intensified action to tackle the persistent security challenges on the Okada-Benin Road corridor.
