MALAWI: Miss Culture Malawi Introduces District Franchise Program to Promote Culture

Organisers of Miss Culture Malawi have introduced a District Franchise Program aimed at strengthening cultural representation across the country.
In a statement released by the organisers, the new system will allow each district to host its own Miss Culture competition, with winners advancing to the national finals where they will showcase their traditions and cultural identity.
“Our goal is to ensure that every district has a platform to celebrate and promote its cultural heritage through the Miss Culture Malawi pageant,” reads part of the statement.
The organisers also said the initiative will help preserve Malawi’s culture while empowering young women to actively participate in promoting their traditions.
“This program will not only highlight our diverse cultural identity but will also empower young women and contribute to community development across the districts,” the statem
