President Bola Tinubu has praised the Nigerian military for its recent successes in combating security threats in the North-West.
A statement from the President’s Special Adviser on Information & Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, on Saturday, revealed that the operation resulted in the neutralization of notorious bandit leader Halilu Sububu and another terrorist, Sani Wala Burki.
The operations, conducted by troops of Operation Hadarin Daji, also resulted in the liberation of 13 kidnapped students in Kaduna.
President Tinubu applauded the military high command and intelligence agencies for their coordination and dedication, which led to these achievements.
He reiterated his commitment to supporting the security agencies in their mission to maintain peace and safety across the nation.
The President’s commendation comes in the wake of his directive for service chiefs to be stationed in the North-West until stability is restored.
