Thandie Chisi has been crowned Miss Malawi 2025 following a highly competitive national beauty pageant that brought together some of the country’s most promising young women.
Chisi emerged winner after outperforming four other finalists during the final round of the competition, impressing judges with her confidence, intelligence, and commitment to social causes.

Irene Navicha was named first runner-up, while Tina Mkombezi secured third place in the closely contested pageant that drew wide public attention.
The top five finalists who battled for the prestigious crown were Thandie Chisi, Irene Navicha, Tina Mkombezi, Mwasalipa Mfune, and Rebecca Kazingatchire.

Speaking shortly after being crowned, Chisi said the title comes with responsibility. “This crown is not just for me, but for every young Malawian girl who believes in her dreams and wants to make a positive difference in society,” she said.

Organisers of the pageant said the competition aimed to empower young women and promote Malawi’s culture, leadership, and social responsibility, noting that all top five finalists demonstrated strong potential to represent the country on regional and international platforms.

As Miss Malawi 2025, Chisi is expected to take part in various national and international engagements, using her platform to advocate for development initiatives and youth empowerment.
