Kenyan President William Ruto on Saturday, joined the Maa community in celebrating the 3rd Maa Cultural and Tourism Festival held at Amboseli, Kajiado County.

During the event, the President officially handed over the management of Amboseli National Park to the Kajiado County Government, marking a significant milestone in Kenya’s ongoing efforts to promote devolution, community-led conservation, and cultural tourism.

The festival brought together local leaders, cultural groups, and visitors from across the region to showcase the rich heritage, traditions, and unity of the Maa people, reinforcing Amboseli’s role as both a cultural and ecological treasure.
