Nigerians Commend Airport Staff For Returning $10,000 Dollars

The action of Auwal Ahmed Dankode, an employee of the Nigeria Aviation Handling Company (NAHCO), at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano, has left Nigerians talking.

It was reported that while Ahmed was cleaning a plane, he found the sum of $10,000, which he reported to his superior.

This action has caused several reactions on the social media space from Nigerians.

A user known as @SuperSlimEli stated that he respects people like this, noting that they should be protected at all costs.

“I respect people like this. We still have good people in this country; they should be protected at all costs.”

Another user @Maxajee, described Ahmed as God fearing, arguing that most people would have kept mute about it and spent the money.
