Spain striker Alvaro Morata has completed a move to Serie A side Como following the termination of his loan spell at Galatasaray.
Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the deal on Monday, stating that all agreements have been signed, with only the player’s registration left to finalise.
The 32-year-old joins from AC Milan, where he spent part of last season before heading to Turkey on loan.
Morata, who featured 25 times for Milan last season, scoring six goals and providing one assist, opted for a switch to Como in search of a more prominent role.
At Galatasaray, he netted seven goals and registered one assist in 16 appearances, adding further experience to his already impressive career across Europe’s top leagues.
Como see the Spanish forward as a crucial addition to their squad as they aim to establish themselves as a competitive force in Italian football.
The club has been active in the transfer market, with Morata’s arrival expected to bolster their attacking options ahead of the new season.
