Popular Nigerian actress and filmmaker, Toyin Abraham has addressed rumours suggesting she is pregnant following a video she shared on Instagram.
The speculation arose after the actress posted a clip celebrating her husband, actor Kolawole Ajeyemi, on International Men’s Day.
The video, which showed Ajeyemi affectionately touching Toyin’s visibly rounded belly, sparked widespread reactions among fans and followers, with many assuming the actress was expecting another child.
However, in a swift response to dispel the rumours, Toyin clarified that the video was from the set of her upcoming movie, Alakada Bad and Boujee.
She explained that the appearance of her belly in the video was a part of her role in the film.
In her post, Toyin wrote: “Oko mi, my small god, baba mi, alaye mi, eyan mi, olowo ori mi, olutona mi leyin OLORUN, Oluko mi, baba awon Omo mi, thank you baby and happy International Men’s Day @kolawoleajeyemi.
“NB: I’m not pregnant oo. It’s for #AlakadaBadAndBoujee #Abb movie content.”
