This impressive performance secured their spot in the upcoming championship.
At a ceremony held at Bingu Stadium in Lilongwe on Thursday, the team proudly presented their medals to Football Association of Malawi (FAM) President Fleetwood Haiya.
Despite a narrow 3-1 loss to South Africa in the final, the Malawi team was honoured with the prestigious “Fair Play Miniature” award, recognizing their exemplary sportsmanship throughout the tournament.
The team’s achievement is a testament to their hard work and dedication, and it has ignited hopes for a successful outing in the upcoming CAF African Schools Champions.
