The Emfuleni Local Football Association (ELFA) and Midvaal Local Football Association Super League for 2023/2024 season might be declared null and void.
This comes after the Inter Regional Play-Offs have been postponed for a third time. The much-anticipated promotional play-offs were supposed to take place last month, but was postponed, Sedibeng Ster, a local newspaper, reliably learned the reasoning behind the delay.
The two Local Football Associations (LFA) registered their players under MYSAFA after the registration period was closed for the Super League season.
When the players’ cards came back, some of the teams claimed that a certain amount of their players were not registered, because of this, the two LFAs decided to make makeshift player cards for those players.
To date, the play-offs are supposed to produce the two teams that will be promoted to Safa Sedibeng Hollywood Regional League.
However, with the current situation the two teams from Lesedi Local Football Association will be automatically promoted to Safa Sedibeng Hollywood Regional League.
