Salah Prioritises Premier League Glory Over Champions League Triumph

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah, has made a bold statement about his ambitions this season, declaring his desire to win the Premier League title above lifting the Champions League trophy.
In an exclusive interview with TNT Sports, shared by renowned sports journalist Fabrizio Romano on X, Salah emphasised the collective goal of his team.
He said: “I want to win the Premier League title more than the Champions League this year. I really want it; as a team, we want it.”
Salah, known for his incredible work ethic and self-belief, also shared his outlook on being considered the best in the world.
“Best in the world? It’s tricky! People have different preferences. I always see myself as the best, and I want to give my best for the team,” he explained, showcasing his competitive spirit.
Salah took a moment to express his admiration for Liverpool manager Arne Slot, who has been instrumental in shaping the team’s tactical approach.
“Before I worked with Arne Slot, I didn’t expect he was this good. Then we started working, and I’m not surprised at all! He’s great with details, great with small things, and doesn’t have an ego when he makes a mistake. He’s great on tactics,” Salah said, highlighting Slot’s humility and managerial acumen.

When asked about his vote for the best player in the world, Salah chose Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr., praising the Brazilian’s consistent improvement.
“Vinicius Jr. is a very good player, that’s why! He’s improving every year, and hopefully, he can continue. I voted for him because he deserves it,” Salah revealed.
The Egyptian forward also named legendary Brazilian striker Ronaldo Nazario as his football idol. “My idol? Ronaldo Nazario,” he said, acknowledging the influence of the iconic player on his career.
