Popular Nigerian musician, Oludipe Oluwasanmi David popularly known as Spyro, recently addressed criticisms following his latest car purchase.
In a social media post, the artist expressed frustration over what he described as double standards from the public.
“When my colleagues do big things, nobody talks; it’s normal. But once it’s me, they say I de do yahoo,” Spyro wrote, referencing allegations that he engages in internet fraud.
Emphasising his faith, he countered these claims, saying, “Well yes, I am a Benefit boy, and I de do JESUS-PLUS.”
Spyro, who often uses his platform to promote Christianity, stated that he feels compelled to share his achievements as proof of his faith.
“I hate to post my wins honestly, but someone has to show these young folks that CHRIST IS LOUD and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him,” he added.
In the caption accompanying the post, Spyro encouraged young artists, emphasising that success can be achieved without compromising one’s beliefs.
“I want all to know this, especially the young artists coming up: YOU CAN STAND WITH YOUR GOD and win BIG, and I am a living proof of that.”
