Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye Olanrewaju, popularly known as Bobrisky, has filed a ₦1 billion lawsuit against social media activist Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan.
Recall that on Tuesday, VeryDarkMan shared a voice note in which Bobrisky allegedly claimed to have completed a prison sentence in a private residence and had also allegedly paid some staff of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) ₦15,000,000 to drop money laundering charges against him.
These allegations sparked widespread reactions on social media, drawing the attention of government agencies, with the EFCC inviting both Bobrisky and VeryDarkMan to assist in an official investigation.
However, in a petition shared by Bobrisky through his lawyers, AVWEROSUOGHENE CHAMBERS, via Instagram on Sunday, the crossdresser demanded ₦1 billion in damages, along with a public apology to be issued within 24 hours.
According to Bobrisky, the audio recording shared by VeryDarkMan was fake and was generated using Artificial Intelligence (AI).
In the petition, Bobrisky reiterated that the audio recording shared by VeryDarkMan was fabricated and created using AI technology.
