Social media influencer, Martins ‘VeryDarkMan’ Otse, has cried out accusing some persons of trying to bring all his social media handles following a controversial leaked audio involving Idris Okuneye, aka Bobrisky.
He made this known via a Facebook post on Thursday noting that EFCC is trying to cover up the matter, urging his followers to connect with his Instagram account.
The post says, “They are trying so hard to cover up everything, since this EFCC and prison allegations and other names mentioned they are trying to bring all my social media down, crzy anyways follow on Instagram ASAP.”
Recall that African Culture TV reported that a leaked audio recording, published by VeryDarkMan, in which Bobrisky allegedly details his six-month prison term and interactions with government officials, including accusations that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) dropped money laundering charges against him after receiving N15 million, reported by African Culture TV.
Following the audio’s release, Bobrisky issued a cease-and-desist notice through his legal team, R.T. Omuvwie and Co., accusing VeryDarkMan of using artificial intelligence (AI) to manipulate the recording and defame him.
Bobrisky’s lawyers demanded that the audio be removed, alongside public apologies and N1 billion in damages for reputational harm. They further warned that failure to comply would lead to legal action.
Bobrisky’s claims of AI manipulation and the subsequent legal threat have since sparked widespread debate, with government agencies and the Nigerian House of Representatives opening investigations into the allegations raised in the leaked audio.
