NIGERIA: Tinubu To Visit Anambra May 8, Commission Key Projects – Soludo

Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is scheduled to visit Anambra State on Thursday, May 8, for an official engagement that will see him commission critical infrastructure projects.
The president is also expected to interact with key stakeholders in the state.
The announcement was made by the Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, during his address at the 2025 Workers’ Day celebration held at Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka, on Thursday.
According to Governor Soludo, the President’s visit marks a significant milestone in the state’s development journey and serves as recognition of the progress made under his administration over the past three years.
“President Bola Tinubu will be visiting Anambra State on Thursday, May 8, for an official visit. During his stay, the President is scheduled to meet with key stakeholders in the state, with a focus on evaluating the developments in the state,” Soludo stated.
He added that the visit will include the commissioning of several completed infrastructure projects initiated and completed by his administration.
“The President will be officially commissioning some of the completed projects executed by my administration in the three years in office. This is proof that my administration is forging a partnership that works. I urge you all to give him a resounding welcome,” Soludo said.
The upcoming visit is expected to further strengthen federal-state relations and highlight Anambra’s developmental strides under Soludo’s leadership.
