In a statement on Saturday by the special adviser on information and strategy to the president, Bayo Onanuga, it was disclosed that President Bola Tinubu will return to Abuja today, following a two-week trip to China and the United Kingdom (UK).
President Bola Tinubu recently embarked on a two-week diplomatic trip to China and the United Kingdom, focusing on enhancing Nigeria’s infrastructure and fostering international partnerships. His first stop in China saw the signing of five key agreements.
Tinubu also engaged with leading Chinese companies like Huawei to discuss technology transfer and digital innovation in Nigeria.
His visit concluded with an interactive session with the Nigerian community in China, where he emphasized his administration’s reforms aimed at improving infrastructure and public services.
Following his engagements in China, Tinubu made a brief stop in the United Kingdom, where he met with King Charles III.
Their discussions centered on climate change and potential collaborations in green energy and environmental sustainability.
Tinubu also held meetings with British business leaders to explore future trade and investment opportunities between the two nations.
