It is said that the loss of a scholar is the loss of knowledge. The Muslim community has suffered a great loss with the passing of one of Nigeria’s most revered figures, Alhaji Muyideen Bello, who died at the age of 84.
The news of his demise was announced on Friday morning by another prominent Islamic scholar, Alfa Aribidesi of At-Tawdeeh Islamic Da’awah on his Facebook handle.
Born in the city of Ibadan, Alhaji Bello was widely respected for his profound knowledge and teachings of Islam.
Although the cause of Alhaji Muyideen Bello’s death remains unclear, his passing has deeply impacted the Muslim community.
It marks the end of a life dedicated to inspiring others through exemplary spiritual leadership.
Since the announcement, friends and family have gathered at his Akobo residence in Ibadan to pay their respects and offer condolences.
