NIGERIA: Police Urge Multiple Vehicle Owners To Use Fleet Registration On e-CMR Portal

By Onoja Baba, Nigeria
The Nigeria Police Force has issued a public advisory, encouraging individuals and organisations registering multiple vehicles, to take advantage of the Fleet Registration option available on the electronic Central Motor Registry (e-CMR) portal.
The advisory, shared on the Force’s official platform on Sunday, highlights the convenience and efficiency the fleet registration feature offers to users who need to register more than one vehicle at a time.
According to the Police, users who already have an existing profile on the e-CMR portal do not need to create a new one.
“Just log in, go to the Request page, and select ‘Fleet’ under CMR Request to add your new vehicles,” the advisory explained.
The fleet registration process is aimed at easing the burden for corporate organisations, government agencies, and individuals with multiple vehicles, ensuring faster processing and easier tracking.
For additional support, users are advised to contact the CMR help desk via email at info@npfcmr.ng or call +234 201 887 0133.
The Police reiterated their commitment to leveraging digital tools for improved service delivery and enhanced vehicle security tracking across the country.
